Santa has drunk way too much Christmas Spirits and passed out leaving his... er, trusty Elves to stand in for him and deliver all those wonderful presents... If only they could get dressed in time.

Started as a rough sketch in Sketchbook Pro. Pencils then tidied up in Artrage (which appears to absent from the software list here). Finally coloured in Painter and final tweaks in Photoshop.

A gigantic derelict spacecraft abandoned long ago on a desert planet. An attempt at painting something of imposing scale compared to the tiny figures that have come to investigate it, and created for a challenge entry at imaginefx.com. Fish creature was sculpted in ZBrush, painted and rendered out. Submersible was built in Cinema 4D, lit using a preview render from ZBrush as a backdrop to help line everything up. This was created for entry into an online challenge with the subject "The Awakening". Elements such as the skulls and tentacles were rendered out separately from Poser. Everything was then composited with textures and photographic material in Photoshop.
